NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dailymotion, one of the world's largest video entertainment websites, today announced several key additions to the US-based sales and content teams, positioning itself for continued growth in the US market.
Responding to advertising market demands, the company added two executives to the sales team. Sara Lovern joins as Senior Account Executive, US, moving over from Heavy.com, where she sold on-site advertising and developed branded entertainment with national clients. Joining as Director of Ad Operations is Diana Birman, who previously oversaw the entire online ad operations of the ContentNext network. At ContentNext, Diana developed new ad products for properties such as paidcontent.org, moconews.net and contentsutra.com.
To address the growing number of content partnerships with entertainment companies and production studios in the US, Dailymotion has also expanded the US content team. David Ripert has been relocated to the US from Dailymotion in France to serve as Head of Content and Director, Global Partnerships. Ripert is responsible for content acquisition, partnerships and programming initiatives in the US as well as deals with worldwide potential. Ripert previously held positions including Manager, Content Acquisition at Netflix and Director, Distribution and Production Finance at Intermedia Film. Matthew Gaffney also joins the team as Programming Coordinator.
